WHO ARE ELIGIBLE?

This certificate will give you official level Diploma qualifications in Youth Work. People who are educated, trained, caring and wish to work in early childhood education and community service industries are eligible. To achieve this qualification, the individual must have completed a total of least 180 hours of work in a regulated children’s education and care service in Australia as detailed in the Assessment Requirements of units of competency. The total number of hours may be applied collectively across all units of competency that include the requirement for workplace hours.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

This certification has no specific admission requirements. Candidates for the qualification must, however, be at least eighteen years old, possess at least twelve years of formal education, or the equivalent, and speak English fluently.
