DURATION

WHO ARE ELIGIBLE?

You will receive certified level 3 qualifications in Early Childhood Education and Care with this certificate. Those who want to work in the fields of early childhood education and community service and who are well-educated, well-trained, and compassionate are eligible. According to the Assessment Requirements of the units of competency, the candidate must have completed at least 120 hours of work in order to be qualified.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

This certification has no specific admission requirements. Candidates for the qualification must, however, be at least eighteen years old, possess at least twelve years of formal education, or the equivalent, and speak English fluently.

PACKAGING RULES

The students enrolled in CHC30113 Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care, units of competency as listed below:

• 15 core units
• 3 elective units

       at least 1 must be selected from the electives listed below

       up to 2 units may be selected from any endorsed Training Packages or accredited courses – these    units must be relevant to the work outcome.
